Leavrow is an Android app that keeps a local feeding log for sourdough starters on the phone where it is installed. You enter starter names, status, feeding times, ratios, flour, water, and optional notes. The app schedules optional feeding reminders on the device. It does not judge whether a starter is safe to eat and does not provide recipes.

Accounts

Leavrow does not ask you to create an account, and it does not offer a sign-in. There is no Leavrow user profile on a server operated by PocketFoundry.

Data stored on the phone

The app saves a local file that can contain starter names, status (room, fridge, or dormant), reminder settings and intervals, feeding times, ratio parts, flour labels, water amounts, notes, whether a row is an example, whether the example notice has been dismissed, and whether the one-time unlock is recorded on this phone. That file stays in the app's private storage. Leavrow does not upload it.

You can edit or delete starters and feedings inside the app. Remove samples deletes only rows that are still marked as samples. Uninstalling the app removes the local file from that phone. A new phone does not receive the old file. Android backup is turned off for this app. If the file cannot be read, Leavrow may replace it with examples, and the previous numbers cannot be recovered from the app.

Purchases

Google Play processes the optional one-time purchase that raises the starter limit from one to six and enables CSV export. Leavrow uses the Play Billing library to ask whether that product is owned and to show the price Play returns. The app does not receive your card number. Google's handling of payment data is covered by Google's own policies. The Billing library uses the Internet permission. Leavrow does not add an advertising SDK or an analytics SDK.

Permissions

The app declares the Internet permission. The Play Billing library also merges a network-state permission. Both are used when you buy or restore the one-time purchase. Leavrow may request notification permission so optional feeding reminders can appear; if you deny it, logging still works. Leavrow does not request contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone, or a foreground service.

Sharing

CSV export, after the one-time purchase, creates a file in the app's cache and opens the system share sheet. The file goes only where you send it. Leavrow does not sell data and does not share the feeding log with a server of its own.

Children

Leavrow is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
