Does Lardow say the food is safe?
No. You type the date you saw. Lardow groups that date into past the date, the next 3 days, or later. It does not tell you the food is safe to eat.
Where is the list stored?
In a local file on this phone. There is no account and no cloud copy. Android backup is off. Uninstalling removes the list. A new phone does not receive the old list.
What is free?
One place is free, including fridge, freezer, and pantry filters, and the optional day-before reminder. There are no ads and no subscription. A one-time purchase raises the limit from 1 place to 4 and adds CSV export. Google Play shows the price on the button.
What happens if I decline notifications?
The list still works. Lardow asks for notification permission only when you turn reminders on. It does not use an exact-alarm permission.
