Does Nilfold connect to a bank?
No. You type the balance, yearly rate, and minimum payment. Nilfold does not link an account, lend money, or move a payment.
What is free, and what does the purchase add?
Two debts are free, including the month-by-month table. A one-time Google Play purchase raises the limit to eight debts and adds CSV export. There is no subscription and no advertising. The button shows the price Play returns.
Where are the numbers stored?
In a local file on this phone. There is no Nilfold account and no upload. Android backup is off. Uninstalling deletes the file. A new phone does not receive the old file.
How is a month calculated?
Interest is the balance times the yearly rate divided by 12, rounded to cents. The first debt that still has a balance also receives the extra amount. Other debts receive only their minimum, capped at the balance plus that month's interest. The table starts next calendar month and stops after 360 months.
