Does Stringrow tune my guitar or listen to me play?
No. You log instrument names, change dates, and optional notes. Stringrow does not use the microphone, does not tune for you, and does not decide when strings are worn out or how they should sound.
Where is the string-change log stored?
In a local database on this phone. There is no account and no upload. Android backup is off. Uninstalling deletes the file. A new phone does not receive the old file.
What is free, and what does the purchase add?
One instrument is free, including unlimited string history and optional reminders. There are no ads and no subscription. A one-time Google Play purchase (stringrow_more_guitars) raises the limit to eight instruments and adds CSV export. The button shows the price Play returns.
How do reminders work?
After a logged change, the next-due day is your last change date plus the interval you chose (7 to 730 days). If you decline notification permission, logging still works; reminders simply do not appear.
