Treadrow is an Android app that keeps a local mileage log for shoes on the phone where it is installed. You enter shoe names, optional brand, a distance limit, units (km or mi), run times, distances, and optional notes. The app can schedule optional reminders when mileage nears or reaches the limit you set. It does not use GPS, does not track routes, and does not decide when you should replace shoes. It is not medical advice.
Accounts
Treadrow does not ask you to create an account, and it does not offer a sign-in. There is no Treadrow user profile on a server operated by PocketFoundry.
Data stored on the phone
The app saves a local file that can contain shoe names, brand text, distance limits, units, reminder settings, retired flags, entry times and distances, notes, whether a row is an example, whether the example notice has been dismissed, whether retired shoes are shown, and whether the one-time unlock is recorded on this phone. That file stays in the app's private storage. Treadrow does not upload it.
You can edit or delete shoes and entries inside the app. Remove samples deletes only rows that are still marked as samples. Uninstalling the app removes the local file from that phone. A new phone does not receive the old file. Android backup is turned off for this app.
Purchases
Google Play processes the optional one-time purchase that raises the shoe limit from one to eight and enables CSV export. Treadrow uses the Play Billing library to ask whether that product is owned and to show the price Play returns. The app does not receive your card number. Google's handling of payment data is covered by Google's own policies. The Billing library uses the Internet permission. Treadrow does not add an advertising SDK or an analytics SDK.
Permissions
The app declares the Internet permission. The Play Billing library also merges a network-state permission. Both are used when you buy or restore the one-time purchase. Treadrow may request notification permission so optional mileage reminders can appear; if you deny it, logging still works. Treadrow does not request contacts, photos, location, camera, microphone, or a foreground service.
Sharing
CSV export, after the one-time purchase, creates a file in the app's cache and opens the system share sheet. The file goes only where you send it. Treadrow does not sell data and does not share the mileage log with a server of its own.
Children
Treadrow is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
